Dear Colleagues,

I welcome you to LaserInnsbruck 2008, Advances and Controversies in Laser and Aesthetic Surgery, 2nd International Conference, in Innsbruck September 3 to 6, 2008. I hope you enjoy this meeting!

This meeting is the continuation of LaserBarcelona 2006 with the academic profile free of commercial interference from industry. As announced 2006 in Barcelona this conference is supposed to be held every 2 years and tries to be one of the main European laser meetings to discuss the latest improvements in medical laser uses. This time Innsbruck takes the leadership to organize the 2008 meeting. Our aim is to get-together the most influential experts for laser development, innovations and applications in cutaneous laser and aesthetic surgery.

The key aspects of activity deal with aesthetic procedures and treatments of diseases. The “hot topics” in cutaneous lasers and adjunctive procedures in aesthetic surgery are focused in short sessions. Discussion and interactive exchange of knowledge with the audience is of major importance. Post-Conference Workshops offer you the opportunity to discuss the newest devices and to interchange knowledge with the experts.
